Dream Log 2015

This is just a catalog of dreams I remember when I wake up. Ann-Kristin calls the dreams where I am feeling stressed because of a need to do something difficult "challenge dreams".

November 29, 2015

I was in my apartment on Starhembergstraße. Coach Malowitz and Coach Nolan were there with Patrick from that first year at Lamar in which I was "on the team". They were lecturing Patrick about his behavior and what potential he had before warning that he would be kicked off the team for further problematic behavior. This is a conversation that did actually happen, as I remember. Anyway, Coach Malowitz was dressed as a pirate, and all of the sudden we were in an Streetcar or Bus and he was still in that outfit. Someone asked him in German if he was in some famous musical (it was not a real musical, just an invention of the dream). He was caught off-guard but then lied and said 'yes'. The lady asked him to recite some lines from the show. He could not speak German. I could, and I had a copy of the script, so I started feeding him lines which he then repeated. Somoehow, he woman did not notice that I was doing this and seemed impressed with his lines. That's when I woke up.

I dozed in the morning while Anne was getting ready. I dreamed of Zach Galafanakis, Rebecka Mark, and Mabel and Moe from Men on a Mission. We were in a house, and there as a sense that I was being somewhat against my will by Zach. He wanted to show me a room in the house which was dark, menacing, and scary. I had a feeling that he meant to do something bad in there. In the dream, my feelings of danger came fromt he fact that he had killed Mabel rather than a heart attack. All of the sudden, though, it was morning and very bright. The room was no longer scary, and it was revealed that in an adjacent room, Rebecka Mark was having breakfast, and I was to join her. Somehow that made everything okay. Anne was also there, and Rebecka was speaking with her in German.

November 21-22, 2015

Early in the night, I had a dream about a Ritz values and Ron Morgan. We were having some sort of conversation about them.

In the morning around 4:00, I awoke from a really odd dream. I was at some sort of conference and an albino couple really liked a frosted glass table/desk I apparently owned and kept coming by my office to ask about it and see the brand. I bumped into a Latino couple outside the conference venue and they acted like they knew me and asked me to breakfast on Thursday. Then I was talking to George Clooney and he was telling me he understood how I felt (about what?) and about how his girlfriend Lynn dumped him because he was too embarrassed about what cultural elements she wanted to include in their wedding because her wedding was an expression of herself. He said he could understand how she felt and didn't seem too upset. Even in my dreams, George Clooney is a smooth customer.

I was attending a party where I needed to wear a nice suit outfit. I was really upset and melting down trying to make a decision. Also a girl I did not like at Uni was there antagonizing me. It was the girl I went on two dates with in the first few months after moving to Linz, the one with too much lipstick. She was claiming I had acted improperly with her and was threatening to tell Ronny.

I dreamed about being with Ann-Kristin. We were having some emotional discussion and were crying but in the good way where we were sharing something. I don't remember what, though.

I had a crazy dream that I visited New Orleans and was asking all my friends for help finding a cable. Chris Spring had a broken leg for some reason. Jonathan Hobbs gave me a cable but it was older and had a speed limitation.Chris Spring had a faster cable but not on hand (he was in a dirty truck) and I had to leave New Orleans immediately so I could not wait for him. I felt bad not accepting his faster cable, like I was insulting him or his family or something.

I had a dream about riding motorcycles. I remember riding too fast and being worried, but I also had some concern about joining a motorcycle gang.

I was at Parkbad in the mixed sauna an was there with a bunch I friends an acquaintances, not just from Linz but also from other parts of my life. I had assumed that since we were visiting sauna we would all be naked but then we were in sauna an everyone else was in bathing suits and I was the only naked person. They all seemed okay with it but unfelt out of place. ASIDE FROM ANN-KRISTIN: Maybe you have to travel to China to find your inner, higher self through the Dreams. Like an esoteric sabbatical. I was in China for 2.5 weeks in August.

I was working for Dr. Safi at UT Health Science Center. He had gone to work and for some reason, and I had all the patient information on the people on whom he was going to operate today. So I was panicking but my aunt reminded me that he was probably still in meetings so I could catch him and give him the information. So I had to rush to the hospital. However the car I had was a red Ford F450 truck. It's the truck Bronson Parker owned. It's a big truck but in the dream it was even bigger and had a smaller truck in the bed. In fact Bronson and Travis Bryan were there and had bought me the truck as a gift: the problem was the truck would not fit in the parking garage at the hospital. I was panicking and they were telling me not to worry. That's when I woke up...I'm not sure if the patient made it.

My dad was in prison and I had to help him escape. It was really risky, and we had to make it through many obstacles. Dream ended without resolution.
